samharnold (United Kingdom) (2010/04/05): This is the 8th book in the Alex Cross collection of books. Although this is an easy page turner this is not as engrossing as the other novels in the collection. I think for a while James Patterson has struggled to find a really complex villain. None as good as Gary Soneji, Kyle Craig and The Wolf.
The book has a fast paced story line and is an easy page turner. There is a twist at the end although I did not work out the twist I knew one was coming.
I would say this is a good beach read Alex Cross lovers will like the book but it will not wow you afterwards. Worth a look if you want a quick easy read.
