E. Lang (USA: PA) (2007/03/29): I liked certain aspects of the book. Its a vocabulary builder for the budding chef on the multitude of tools. As a buyers guide, this book presents items meant for the well-to-do buyers. Its self confidence deflater for the rest of us who can't afford top of the line gear. If you can look past what the gear costs, it a fun book to get an idea (and amusement) of what is out there.
