Mekashef (Canada) (2011/05/29): "The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath" was a bit of a disappointment for me; the directions which the plot inexplicably took all felt rather arbitrary. In retrospect, I think this was probably consistent with the author's intuitions of the meaninglessness of human existence on the cosmic scale. The remainder of the stories contained in this book are for the most part very good. I personally loved "The Silver Key" the best, as it provides insight into the author's quaint, antiquarian ways.
