Bio:
Most of the items in my inventory are in new or like-new condition. I basically get books, read them, and then shelve them so there may be minor wear to dustjackets but to the best of my knowledge the books themselves are generally in excellent condition.

I do sometimes acquire books secondhand (through half.com, etc., and obviously now through mooches) so if by chance you should receive a book from me that is damaged or defaced in a way that I did not detail prior to shipping, please let me know.

I try to package my books very carefully and use a variety of materials including recycled paper, bubblewrap, mailing bags and the like. Domestically, I ship via UPS and USPS media mail, depending on when you mooch and where you live. If you have a preference, please include it in your mooch request comments and I'll accommodate you whenever possible- for instance, UPS is much faster but they will NOT deliver to PO boxes.

*Please note: ALL Alaska and Hawaii mooches will ship via USPS, unless you want to Paypal me $40 to cover UPS Second Day Air. :)

27 Oct 2007: I have posted my small collection of stripped paperbacks. I worked for a well-known bookseller for about three years and never turned down a free book. These books *are* missing their front covers but are otherwise in perfect condition.

19 September 2008: Due to some drastic changes in my family's finances, I am currently unable to accept any new international mooches. Even with the extended waiting periods it's just too expensive right now. However, if I have something you really want and just can't find anywhere else, feel free to email me and we'll see if we can work something out. Thanks!
