General info, Fall 09: Sending books about once weekly. I'm still set to 'worldwide' but am only working part-time currently, so I really REALLY appreciate when people outside the US mooch two at once. (It isn't required but sure does help!) ABOUT ME:
I'm a teacher, tutor, wife, daughter & doctoral student in Comparative Literature. I live and work in NY, Indiana, and sometimes Morocco.

ABOUT MY BOOKS:
Most of my inventory is gently used. I always include condition notes. So if a book is ex-library, has writing/highlighting, a cracked spine etc, you'll know; if you're curious about other details, please just ask.
I mail in carefully wrapped and mostly recycled materials.
Domestic mooches usually go out within a week of acceptance; international requests can take slightly longer, but almost never more than two weeks... enough time to save a bit for postage, in other words. ;)

BOOKS I'M AFTER...!
My own interests include literary theory & criticism, North African Arabic & Francophone literature, history, scholarly works on Islam, any 'classic' text from the Humanities or Social Sciences, war stories/military histories, religion, cinema, travel writing, captivity narratives, and any romance novel (especially corny older ones!) that features a sheikh, sultan, or 'exotic' Afro-Turko-Arabian setting.
FYI, I'm also 'Fullmoonblue' on LibraryThing. So if you visit my library there and see that you've got something I don't have yet and you think I'd appreciate, please let me know!! I will mooch, mooch, mooch.
